A photographer decided that in order for him to lose his growing beer belly, he might have to enlist the support of his family. Jesse, 32, therefore recruited his Pregnant Wife and parents to take on a fitness regime.
Initially, it was tough. However, as the weeks went by, the family went from fast-walking exercise to jogging, before finally becoming gym addicts as they shed the pounds.
Happily, in an unexpected twist, Jesse says the programme brought them together as a family, reports Bored Panda.
Not only do the photos show how the family went from bloated to tip-top condition, the dramatic weight-loss also took years off them.
The 'old man,' Jesse's dad, is almost unrecognisable - and could easily pass as his brother instead of granddad-to-be.
Now what started as a six-month health kick has turned into a lifestyle choice. Jesse's inspiration for the great idea came when his mum temporarily moved in with him and his pregnant wife to help with the first stages of motherhood.
The man sensed an opportunity to bond with his parents at a special time in his life. Jesse went on to invite his dad to stay too - and they have never looked back.
