Have you ever attempted to do a puzzle? It could be one of the kids ones that's only about 100 pieces, or you got extremes and start a massive one that's 3000 pieces, taking over the entire kitchen table. Thinking about your experience Puzzle-making, if you were ever to take out the puzzle and everything was already put together, with nothing left for you to solve, it wouldn't be a fun experience would it? You would feel like you've been cheated, that you missed your opportunity to have the chance and take the time to solve the puzzle for yourself. If faith were like this, it would be generic, very straightforward and probably wouldn't have a lot of believers. God gives us the pieces we need to seek Him and live a happy life doing so, but it's our responsibility to put them together along our specific journey. Many see this as something to fear, but it's exciting, a life-long journey for us to become God's disciples. Are you ready to put the pieces together?

Today's Reading states:'He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; for in him all things were Created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities -- all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent. For in him all the fulness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross' (Colossians 1:15-20).

Today's reading talks about how everything within creation all starts with God. Within our very identity, we are created as children of God, made in His very image and likeness to seek Him. If it feels like things are falling apart, like you may be missing some of the puzzle pieces, maybe it's time to start over, and go back to your core identity, being a child of God. Take some time to pray and ask God to help you in putting the pieces of the puzzle together for your life.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for making me special in Your very image and likeness. Guide me in my life and help me to put the pieces together in Your timing.
