Are you ready for everything you need to Face each day? Sometimes the list is super long and it makes it challenging to face the day. Each new day brings new challenges with it. The heat being how it is hasn't helped make it any easier. Remember when you had to face your first day of grade school, high school, college, a new job? The new day can feel scary if we don't know what to expect, what the plan is, where we will be at the end of it. We can face the day easier if we ask God to let His will be done, even if we don't know what it is. If we do that, it'll be exciting to face the day ahead!

Today's Gospel states: 'And preach as you go, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying, give without pay. Take no gold, nor silver, nor copper in your belts, no bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor a staff; for the laborer deserves his food. And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it, and stay with him until you depart. As you enter the house, salute it. And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And if any one will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave that house or town. Today's reading talks about how we need to be up to the challenges that are ahead. Judgement will be coming at some point and we need to be prepared for whenever that could be. The best way to prepare is to do the very best you can to be present, to love and to live each moment with joy. If we're scared about the day ahead, it may be more difficult to do this. We need to start the day by offering everything, all of us, to God's will, whatever that may be. You'll be amazed at how free you feel to face the day ahead. Take some time to pray and offer your life yo God's will today.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for helping me to live life to the fullest. Guide me through the challenges and new fears I may face today and help me to do Your will in everything I do.
