Take My Life into Your Hands

Take My Life Into Your Hands
Are you fully acceptant of God in your life? It's not really an area where you can say 'the glass is half full', as it's meant to be the core, the very centre of what drives and pushes you to be each day. It's something you need to dedicate yourself to learning more and more each and every day, building up your armour of God piece by piece. Very often we'll do some small things that bring God's love to the world, such as helping a spouse clean the house unexpectedly, giving a donation to a charity when we often ignore, and so on. Asking God to guide your life each day can aid you in every decision you make and every action you take.
Today's Gospel states:'Now he was casting out a demon that was dumb; when the demon had gone out, the dumb man spoke, and the people marvelled. But some of them said, "He casts out Demons by Be-el'zebul, the prince of demons"; while others, to test him, sought from him a sign from heaven. But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and a divided household falls. And if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Be-el'zebul. And if I cast out demons by Be-el'zebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace; but when one stronger than he assails him and overcomes him, he takes away his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoil. He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters'(Luke 11:14-23).
Today's Gospel talks about how if we are not with God, following His laws and Commandments and living out lives as disciples, then we are against Him. Even if it is not actively attesting His Word, by not living a good life and trying to replicate Christ, we are lacking what it means to truly live and truly be happy. Take some time to ask God to help you work on areas you lack the faith to grow and act as a disciple.
Today's prayer comes from 'Christian TT' a prayer to deepen your relationship with God:
Great and Mighty is Your name, Lord! You are worthy of all my love, respect, honor and praise. You are my Strong-tower, my Deliverer, my Refuge and my Strength, In You, I put my confidence and trust.
Heavenly Father, I love You with all my heart and soul. You are awesome! You make me glad and I will rejoice and praise Your name forever.
Open the eyes of my heart Lord, to see the many blessings you bestow on me, even the small ones.
Almighty God, I pray that I will be taken into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with You, where I will grow in faith and hear the still small voice within my soul.
Help me to be attentive to Your call that will cause me to walk in Your righteousness. Open the eyes of my heart to see the many blessings you bestow on me, especially the very small ones that I sometimes take for granted.
Walk with me Father and take me to new levels where I can experience an outpouring of Your love and mercy. I hunger and thirst for the things of You!
I believe in You Lord and I thank You for giving me what I need, according to Your will. These things I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Savior, SO BE IT… Amen and Amen!
