I'm not bothering to search for it, but a while ago Flickr was bought out and the new people said they'd put a limit on the number of photos a free account could have.

Because I used to use my Flickr photos in my posts, I paid for a pro account and tried to reduce my photos down to the thousand allowed.

I spent time for a while replacing photo links with uploaded copies here and it was a royal pain in the butt so not something I enjoyed doing.

I got a notification last week that my fee is due again this month.  And I both can't be bothered to deal with the remaining "six hundred too many" photos (and their links here) and continuing to put out money for something just because it might throw some broken links on old blog posts.  So, I guess I give up.  Plus it's an expense I can't really justify or ultimately afford (if ever I could.)  Things are extra tight, you know?

I also, honestly, hasn't been on my radar since... well, probably the last time they told me my fee was due.  

So I don't know.   I hope things here (old posts) stay ok but I've chosen the path of "it's not the end of the world" if they're not and that's just going to have to be ok.
