Irritated Mush

I'm writing this Sunday Morning to post Monday morning but as far as I know (not being able to tell the future) unless I sleep better all of this may apply Monday morning as well.

I've not been sleeping very well or very restfully this Summer.  Mainly, I assume due to the heat, but possibly also life/body stuff too.  Whatever the case, I'm not loving not sleeping and not getting rest.

Last week I had acupuncture and it gave me a solid few days of sleep.  (It was amazing)  That started to fade away and the last two nights I haven't really slept.  (Not able to fall asleep, and in that not asleep time, "waking" up and being physically uncomfortable, over and over until "morning")

So waking up this morning I was happy to at least see it was a bit cooler (I woke up a few mornings ago and it was 24 in my place, f*ck) but I could tell my brain was irritated.

Noises really bug me when I'm like this.  I've already cursed the seagulls and whatever other bird that was for making Noise.

I've turned on two of my fans to bring in what should be cooler air and the noise of them is driving me nuts and grating on my irritated brain, but the cool air is a higher priority.  Sigh.

The days when I try to give myself some peace by turning off fans "early" or not turning them on until "later" I end up suffering with the heat, so it's like I need them going (and sometimes the A/C) to maintain some sort of reasonable temp and maybe keep a cool enough place to sleep that night.  (I've not been managing to get my bedroom below 24 at night, but it generally has been at least cooling off and starting the mornings around 22.  (I woke up to 21 in there on Saturday and was THRILLED!)

But yeah, I'm so done with noise, like please make it all go away, and I know people are good with "white noise" (like this fan is currently making) but when I'm like this it's all just noise.  Quiet is calming.  Quiet is glorious.

Sleep is vital.

I'd like more of both as soon as possible please.  Thanks.
