I'm keeping the temperatures heading down by not putting away my fans (you're welcome) although I have used them a few times this month.
One of the unexpected things I Noticed was that with my fans not running anymore, when I go out for a walk and come back home my place has been feeling stuffy. Like I notice the stagnant air. So I suppose that was a benefit of trying to cool my place down that I hadn't even noticed.
Air is good. Moving air feels nicer than non moving air.
Fans move air.
I kind of miss it. But I'm sure I'll get used to it, if I haven't already.
My apartment feels stuffy now when I come in from a walk because I'm not having fans running all day anymore.
But here's to hopefully lower electricity bills, eh?
