Will the Lions turn their season around?

The NFL season is an ultimate roller coaster ride. One week you’re up. The next you’re down.

It’s hard to believe it was just a few weeks ago that the Lions got wiped off the field in Green Bay. After that game it felt like the Lions wouldn’t get their first win until well into October.

Then last week happened.

The Lions went on the road, played well, and closed out the game when it mattered. Now the Lions have a real possibility of closing the gap in the NFC North despite losing their first two games.

Today’s question is:

Can the Lions head into the bye with a 2-2 record?

My answer: Yes.

The Saints are the only thing standing in the Lions way from somehow being able to eke out a .500 Record heading into the bye week. And if the Lions can make that happen, their season can really start to turn around.

The Lions’ next eight opponents have a 6-18 combined record. Not good.

That leaves a lot of ground that can be made up after the bye if the Lions can take advantage of the Saints on Sunday.

I like their chances. How about you?
