Lions RB coach Kyle Caskey auctioning off signed Stafford jersey, more for charity

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Also available: An autographed Kerryon Johnson game ball, game-worn cleats from Bo Scarbrough, and a dinner with the Lions RB coach.

If you’ve been following our site over the past week, you know that we recently held a charity event for the Caskey Family Foundation, a charity started by Detroit Lions running backs coach Kyle Caskey and his wife Kayla. We did online karaoke party on Saturday night and raised over $8,000 for their Surfaces for Success initiative, which is raising money to provide the Detroit Lions Academy—a Detroit public school for underprivileged children—with Microsoft Surface tablets to help them learn remotely and keep up to date with after-school learning.

But the Caskeys are not done yet.

This week, they unveiled a silent online auction with some pretty great prizes. There’s an autographed Matthew Stafford jersey, a Kerryon Johnson autographed game ball, game-worn cleats from Bo Scarbrough and even a dinner for two with Coach Caskey himself. Right now, the bids are somewhat reasonable, meaning you may be able to snag some pretty sweet Lions memorabilia for an affordable deal—and give the charity at the same time.

Here’s where you can see the auction. According to the foundation’s website, the auction ends at 8:59 p.m. THIS FRIDAY, August 7. So don’t miss out!

Of course, if you just want to give to a good cause, you can donate directly to the Caskey Family Foundation right here.
