Matt Prater is already having a record-breaking season.

• Partially lost in the Detroit Lions unfortunate defeat at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons was Matt Prater’s performance. The Lions kicker was 4-for-4 on field goals Sunday, including one from 55 yards out and one from 57. Those were Prater’s third and fourth field goals made from 55 yards or longer, an NFL record... just three games into the season:

• After several players demonstrated during the national anthem of Sunday’s game, one Lions fans is planning to hold a protest during Detroit’s next home game against the Carolina Panthers.
