19 year old Jonny Burnett, a former pupil of Backwell School who trained at River Cottage, will be opening his first venture – The Post Box Eatery – on Wednesday 13th April.
Located in Claverham, a village to the South West of Bristol, The Post Box Eatery will be located in the Old Post Office at 2 Claverham High Street and will seat up to 30 people inside and a further 20 outside.
Expect high quality, locally sourced food from a daily changing menu, with a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as lighter bites including fresh sandwiches, with bread made on the premises by Jonny each morning. In the evenings, it will have more of a fine dining feel, with dishes including Deep Fried Pig Cheek and Vodka Truffles. From Monday to Friday you can enjoy 1 course for £8.90, 2 for £12 or 3 for £15, or £10.50/£14/£17.50 on Saturdays. On Sundays, The Post Box Eatery will be serving Sunday roasts for £9.50 per head. Drinks are on a BYO basis.
