Solution

The problem seems to be resolved if you Remove the height and width lines from the following:

#menu li.sub {
    width: 200px;
    height: 16px;
    padding: 1px 0px 0px 0px;
}

This does not seem to produce any negative effects on Firefox or Chrome either, so it should be safe to remove it.

Updated jsFiddle

As a side note, it looks like you have a lot more styling being applied than you need to (some parts being unnecessary or conflicting). I would recommend going through your CSS again and make sure everything looks the way you want it to. For example if you apply background: red to the above, you can see that the above #menu li.sub part seems to change dimensions when you hover over it, which is a bit unexpected.
