I am working on a hybrid recommender system for FYP. The Dataset I am using is the Movielens 100k dataset(943 users and 1682 movies and 100k ratings). I am using the following research paper for reference.Hybrid Approach to Recommender Systems I am stuck on the part where I have to normalize the Ratings. How are the values of alpha,beta and gamma derived in the equation? Equation of Linear Regression. Explaination. The authors have stated the values of alpha,beta,gamma further in the paper. But they are specific to the dataset.Since I am going to use a newer dataset for my fyp,I am willing to know how to derive the values. final values
