New Commnt: ★★Re: Xiaomi Confirms the Mi 2 and Mi 2S (from 2013) Will Receive MIUI 9 ★★

India is an after thought? When people pay upwards of a billion to you, it is their responsibility to cater to those people as well. If they don't do it, they're a crappy company and that's exactly what I'm trying to say.
Unlockable bootloader => Less security? Wow I'm sure you're a professional developer now. US Carriers disallow BL Unlocks so that people can't flash custom firmware and work around the "security" they have in place. Mostly it's to prevent people from tethering on unlimited plans. BL Unlock can also open the door to unofficial SIM unlocks, which is a huge loss of money to them. You think they really care about your security? LOL.
BL Unlock wipes your entire userdata partition, leaving nothing behind. There is no breach of security when you unlock your bootloader.
Can I see your work? No? Well you're on the internet so I must believe you.
Building a ROM from source is child's play. I'm sure your friends are really proud of you. Walk the talk and show me what you've done.
