NYMSA Visit to Motherless Babies Home – The Reality (Photos)
The visit of Noble Youths Mass Support Association NYMSA ably led by the State Coordinator Revd Richard Peters to the Motherless Babies Home located at Idung Iniang in Eket today April 3rd, 2018 was a huge success.
The Manager of the Orphanage Home in the person of Mr Chris Okon who doubles as the representative of Mrs L. T. Tombush warmly welcomes us into the home and gave us the opportunity to talk to them.
The State Coordinator of NYMSA Revd Richard Peters intimated the management of the Motherless Babies Home that we are here as youths that are concerned about the future of children and to support the home in our own little way for better living of the children nurtured here.
The State Secretary of the group Pst Uduak Okposin commended the effort of Mrs L. T. Tombush in setting up the Orphanage, the staff working in the home which now create a platform for our visit, and added that if there wasn’t any home like this to carter for the Orphans, that the rate of abandonment and frustration that would have shattered many destinies would have been alarmingly high.
Revd Emmanuel Isaac, the Coordinator of Nsit Ibom admonished the Orphanage workers to continue with good works that the children one day will remember them when they are grown.
Obongawan Godsown Udoito added that we the branded youths of NYMSA have a heart to do something to affect this generation positively. And that we will continue to do it from time to time to make sure that this children are alive.
Esit Eket Coordinator – Comrade Unwana Assam express satisfaction in the conducive nature of the environment for the children. And as well appreciates the State coordinator for his firmness of our visit to this place today, and was thankful to God for everyone working in the home.
State Publicity Secretary in the person of Evangelist Gloria Ekong thanked the State Coordinator for this vision, love and passion for the children. She added that she is very emotional seeing the children growing up without their biological parents being with them.
The State Publicity Secretary also put it forward that this group has brought us here because of reawakening of consciousness that young people can become something tomorrow without being intimidated.
And finally pleaded that the management of the home appreciate NYMSA little gift that we brought in good faith.
State Coordinator of NYMSA, Akwa Ibom Chapter Revd Richard Peters finalizes that the future of the children shall be great and the foster parents that God has chosen to become a ladder for this little children which is the greatest sacrifice shall as well be blessed.
Moreso, he said giving is a way of saying thank you. “We give in humility and consciousness of the future”. That Paraventure we experience lack in our lives, God will bring someone to give to us and further pray God to bless all the children and the workers.
The Motherless Babies Home manager Mr Chris Okon praised Revd Richard Peters for the noble guesture in visiting the Orphanage. In his words “For a man of this age to reason the way he’s reasoning means he will go far in life.
I’ve seen something great in him. I know some great people in this Community that has never put up appearance in this place. Thank you for coming to see us and for what you all have presented. What you have given will be used for the glory of God”.
The State Coordinator Revd Richard Peters asked that we be conducted around the home to see the children of which the management did accordingly.
Corporate Prayers was released by Revd Richard Peters for all the children and we were all satisfied that we have given a sense of hope to the orphans.
