Antonio Conte furious with Alvaro Morata after Chelsea striker’s miss vs Arsenal

Alvaro Morata felt the full force of Antonio Conte‘s wrath after the Chelsea striker missed several chances against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.

Chelsea’s record signing spurned an excellent chance to put Chelsea ahead in the first half but after being put through against Petr Cech, he managed to screw his shot well wide of the target.

Jack Wilshere put Arsene Wenger’s side ahead in the second half before Eden Hazard equalised from the penalty spot.

And Alvaro Morata then missed another golden opportunity to give Chelsea the lead as he was put through one-on-one with Cech but his chipped effort went over the bar.

To make matters worse, Arsenal equalised through Hector Bellerin and Morata was given another chance to win the game for Chelsea.

But the Spain international hit his effort straight at Cech and Davide Zappacosta smashed the bar with the rebound.
