Religious Leaders under the aegis of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Endorsed Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, for a second term and pledged their support towards his re-election come 2019.

As momentum for 2019 inches on, religious leaders under the aegis of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) have endorsed Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, for a second term with a pledge for their support towards his re-election in 2019.

The group made the pledge today, Thursday during a Training/Prayer Conference organised by Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) held at Insight Bible Church, Nsikak Eduok, Uyo with the theme: “Advancing The Kingdom On All Fronts”.

Intercessory prayer led by the senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Center (KICC), Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, was offered to the Governor and his cabinet members.

Joined Pastor Ashimolowo in praying for the Governor were the host pastor, Pastor Silvanus Ukafia; Prelate (Prof) Isaiah Isong of the Christ Believers Assembly Inc; the General Overseer of the Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume; and Rev. Efefiong Effiom of Nu-Life Church.

Special prayer was also offered for the local government area elections coming up 2nd December.
