Kazakhstan's President Nazarbayev paid tribute to Hitler's ally Carl Mannerheim!

Kazakhstan's current President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, was once a member of the Political Bureau of the CPSU and first Secretary of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan.

Today, almost 30 years since the counterrevolution in the Soviet Union, as the undisputed -multimillionaire- leader of the Republic of Kazakhstan, resorts to various policies of extreme anti-communism

A recent example of that was the tribute he paid to the Finish Marshall and former President Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim, a collaborator of Adolf Hitler, during his visit in Finland on October 17th.

According to a statement issued by the Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan, President Nazarbayev laid flowers to the grave of Mannerheim in Hietaniemi cemetery in Helsinki, an act which insults the memory of thousands of Red Army fighters who fought against the finnish soldiers who collaborated with Nazi Germany during the Second World War.

Carl Mannerheim, the Commander-in-Chief of the Finnish armed forces and a personal friend of Hitler, led Finland's war against the Soviet Union during the period from 1939 until 1944. From 1944 to 1946 he became president of his country.

According to the Soviet Movement of Kazakhstan, the government of Nazarbayev has implemented various policies of totalitarian decommunization and desovietization, including the renaming of towns, streets and squares, as well as the demolition of soviet-era monuments and the prohibition of communist symbols. It is also characteristic that the Communist Party of Kazakhstan has been outlawed by the Nazarbayev administration.

On May 2018, in a statement, President Nazarbayev refered to the 1917 October Revolution as a "political coup" which, as he said, "destructed the traditional way of life" and accused the Soviet Union for imposing "famine and violence". In his anti-communist delirium, Nazarbayev called the 20th century's Socialism "a tragic experiment"!

The Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan points out that the decommunization goes hand by hand with the glorification of Nazi collaborators in some parts of the country. An example of that is the erection of a monument in Kyzylorda dedicated to the ideological leader of the "Turkestan SS Legion" (collaborators of Nazi Germany) Mustafa Shoikai.
