Twenty 20 Kizhakkambalam was formed as a humble people's movement by a visionary industrialist Sabu M Jacob to develop their Grama Panchayat and make it the best one in the country. Within few years itself, Twenty20 became a sensational organization which created wonders in the village with the sheer grit and determination of its founder and the members.
And seeing the overwhelming support of the people of Kerala, the founder and committee members of the Association decided to make it a Political Party and extend its services to other areas of Kerala as well.
As soon as Twenty 20 converted it to a political party, people of Kerala who have witnessed the marvellous welfare schemes and developments it has brought in Kizhakkambalam, have been flocking to get a membership of Twenty20 Party.
According to available information, on the first day after the announcement, about 1,00,000 persons have registered and joined that party.
As the party's initial decision is to contest in all the 14 Assembly constituencies of Ernakulam district, they are accepting only members from Ernakulam District at this time. Later when they expand to other districts, it is hoped that people from throughout Kerala can join Twenty20 Party and elect their members to form a Model Government in Kerala.
