Southern heath monitor caught eating tiger snake

The photo was posted onto Facebook with the caption: "Dinner time!"
An officer with the Department of Parks and Wildlife in Western Australia captured an incredible photo near the town of Walpole and posted it on Facebook with the caption: "Dinner time!"
The department explained: "This highly venomous tiger snake didn't stand a chance when a hungry southern heath monitor came looking for something to munch on.
"Captured by our Frankland district flora officer Janine Liddelow, this shot was taken on a forest track. The southern heath monitor can be found north and south of the Swan River and in the state's far south-west."
They can grow up to 1.5m in length and have a diet of birds, reptiles, small mammals, eggs and carrion.
