Outgoing Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) says Donald Trump deploying US troops to Tucson, 90 miles from the border, to meet the migrant caravan is nothing more than a “stunt.” This was a stunt meant to scare voters into supporting the Republican Party in the midterms.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Flake said, the troops deployed to Tucson to stop the migrant caravan are actually stationed about 90 miles from the border. “They’re not forward-deployed actually on the border. So, I think you can’t call it anything but a stunt.”

Trump and Fox News railed nonstop about the migrant caravan. Mission not accomplished. Trump has sent 0 tweets about the caravan since the election.
