Obama’s America: The Unemployment Rate fell to 4.6% in November, the lowest level since 2007. The Bureau of Labor Statistics said employers added 178,000 jobs last month.
The unemployment rate for whites is 4.2 percent; blacks is 8.1 percent; Hispanics is 5.7 percent; and Asians is 3.0 percent. The unemployment rate for adult women is 4.2 percent; adult men is 4.3 percent and teenagers is 15.2 percent.
The US economy has created 15.6 million private-sector new jobs since February 2010 nadir.
