LAGOS, JULY 20, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated a former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Nsima Ekere as Managing Director of the lucrative Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba as the Chairman of the agency responsible for the development of the oil-rich Niger Delta region.

Their names were forwarded to the senate Wednesday for confirmation.

When confirmed, Ekere would take over from Mrs Ibim Semenitari who is presently acting as Managing Director.
