BEVERLY HILLS, May 22, (THEWILL) – Four students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Ondo state on Saturday died in an Auto Crash along the Ilesa-Akure express road.
The accident which occurred at Ibule village, just one kilometre to FUTA North gate, involved a Toyota hiace bus conveying the students and a motorcycle with many other students of the university injured.

This has been confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the state Police command, Femi Joseph, attributing it to over speeding.
He disclosed that the students were travelling to Ibadan, Oyo state, for a religious programme and were involved in the ghastly motor accident caused by over speed on the part of the driver of the bus.
He stated the deceased students have been deposited at the morgue while the injured were receiving treatments at different hospitals in the state.
