BEVERLY HILLS, March 08, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, visited Plateau State in continuation of his visits to security challenged areas in the country.
The President arrived at the Yakubu Gowon airport before noon and was received by the state Governor, Simon Lalong and the State Executive Council.
The President, on his arrival, inspected the Guard of Honour at the airport before he departed to Commission the Mararaban Jama’a-secretariat Junction and British American junction road which were constructed.
Some other projects to be commissioned are the Miango-Wild Life Park-Rafiki road with spurs to Tudunwada and old airport junction.
He will also commission secretariat junction flyover bridge and the inter-change.
The President will also pay a courtesy call to the Plateau State Traditional Council at the Gbong Gwom Palace and attend a Town Hall Meeting, where he will address the recent killings in the state.
