The President and Frist Lady made calls to America’s service members wishing them a Merry Christmas. "Every American heart is thankful to you, and we're asking God to watch over you and to watch over your families,” the President Said.

They also participated in NORAD’s annual Santa-tracking exercise, taking calls from children who called NORAD’s popular children’s program.  The children did not know they would be speaking to the President or Frist Lady and were patched through.
