Arizona Senator John Mccain has returned to Arizona, CBS reported, after spending several days at a hospital in Maryland recovering from side effects of chemotherapy. McCain was diagnosed with glioblastoma, over the summer, one of the most common but most aggressive and malignant brain tumors there are.
Doctors at the National Institutes of Health’s National Cancer Institute said that McCain responded well to treatment and is responding positively to ongoing treatment. He will spend the holidays with family and will not be in Washington for the final Vote on the GOP’s tax reform package expected to take place this week.
President Trump said he believes John McCain will come back to Washington should Republicans need his vote for final passage.
