President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday said he would fire “another set of officials,” as he decried anew corruption and red tape in government.

“I will be firing another set of officials. I’m sorry. Mahirap kasi (it’s difficult). You know, ako lang ang presidente ngayon (I am the President now) . I have distributed almost 160,000 hectares,” Duterte said in a speech during a campaign sortie in Cauayan City, Isabela.

The President did not identify the officials, but in his past speeches, he lashed out at officials from the Department of Agrarian Reform for supposedly sitting on an application for two years.
