May 30th, 2016. The ECMI Senior Research Associate Dr. Alexander Osipov(on behalf of ECMI Director Prof. Dr. Tove H. Malloy) and Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University, Rev. Bohdan Prach, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The partnership was established during the latest Ecmi Eastern Partnership Programme seminar on “National minorities, including vulnerable groups: positive actions, support and protection”, taking place in Lviv on May 30th.
Signing these documents has strengthened the partnership between the ECMI and the Ukrainian Catholic University within the framework of the EPP National Minorities and Ethno-political Issues, the ECMI programme that covers three Eastern Partnership countries – Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. The three-year programme, supported by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, started in July 2014. The ECMI also cooperates with the Ukrainian Catholic University in organizing the ECMI Summer School on National Minorities and Border Regions, which will take place in Lviv this year.
