During the upcoming winter semester starting from September, the ECMI will organize a series of Public Lectures for 2017, in addition to its annual semester course on European Minority Rights and Minority Protection Regime.
While the Ecmi annual semester course on European Minority Rights and Minority Protection Regime is targeted for the students of the European Studies master’s programme at the Europa-Universitat Flensburg, the lecture series will gather students and faculty members as well as wider audiences from the Danish-German border region.
The first public lecture is scheduled on 25 September 2017 at 17:00 at the ECMI premises in Kompagnietor. The first guest speaker Mr. Adrian Zeqiri (Executive Director of the ECMI Kosovo) will talk about self-determination, international mediation and present the case of Kosovo. After the lecture, the visitors will have a chance to ask questions and discuss the topic together with the guest speaker and the ECMI team. The event is open to the public.
The following Public Lectures are scheduled on 30 October, 20 November and 11 December 2017. They will feature prominent experts from the ECMI networks and will focus on intersectionality and Roma and indigenous peoples’ rights.
