Punch and Judy Show

Punch And Judy Show
You may ask yourself, how does the Foreign Minister of the Ayatollah regime, stand up to questions, on so many subjects. You would think he would be shredded to bits. Think again.

There is a very famous Charlie Rose program on Bloombeg TV. Charlie Rose comes across as a very open minded liberal person.

There are two parts to the interview in the YouTube videos below. It was done a month ago. I know, I should have put it here sooner. He has been doing it regularly every year and I have restrained myself for too long. I have had enough of this Punch and Judy Show.

In the original show we have:

"Punch me, Judy!" Punch said. "No, I am gonna punch you." Judy said.

If you hate the horrid regime, you will get annoyed at Charlie Rose. But he is like Mr Punch, with no punch at all. I sat at the ring side saying, "Go on Charlie knock him out with a quick one two".

If you are on the reform side of the Rouhani camp, then you would cheer on Zarif.

If you are a die-hard Ayatollah lover, then you would hate both.

Regarding the regime's human rights record:

Zarif says that they are better than Saudi Arabia. And Charlie just let's him get away with it.

Regarding the regime's support of Assad in Syria and the chemical attacks:

Zarif says, because the US did not condemn Saddam's chemical attack to Iran in the Iran-Iraq war, it has no moral authority to pass judgement on the Ayatollah's IRGC being involved in Syria, and says their is no proof that Saron was used. And Charlie just sits there nodding his head, a few "but there is proof and he is shouted down".

On being involved in Iraq;

Zarif says that they were invited by the Iraqi government and they have done good, especially with the Kurds. Charlie just sat there totally dumb founded.

On Hezbollah:

Zarif rambles at length about how the US supports regimes that support all the main terrorist groups. Charlie agrees that the Arabs just bought US's support.

At no point in this dialogue, did Charlie Rose actually spell out the number of Iranians being killed every year, by this horrid regime. In the meantime, Zarif has the gall, to admit that they want to improve human rights in Iran.

So there we have it, in a nutshell. But there is a lot more. The US's best interviewer just gives his stage to a killer to lie.

It is sickening and a sober reminder, how the US media are supporting this horrid regime. Proper regular questioning is required, and it does not happen. It is shameful of Bloomberg. Now you know why the Iranian opposition has very little chance to get an ear from the likes of Charlie Rose.
