Texas Man Fatally Shoots Armed Robber After ATM Withdrawal

Withdrawing money from an ATM can put a target on your back, especially late at night. And that’s what happened to a Texas man this past weekend.

Around 10:30 PM, a man was leaving the ATM when an armed man attempted to rob him. But the victim was armed and drew his gun. They both changed gunfire, and the suspect was hit once. The victim stayed on the scene until the police arrived, and they pronounced the suspect dead on the scene. The victim was not injured.

It is unclear if the victim had a Texas concealed carry permit or if he was carrying under Texas’ constitutional carry law.

Once again, we must mention that Transitional Spaces are where many criminals prey on the unexpected. If you have to withdraw money from an ATM, it is best to do it during the day.
