Two Homeowners were forced to defend themselves after retreating to a bathroom after a man with a knife broke into their home screaming, You’ll have to kill me.”

Early this past July 4th, around 1 AM, a Safford, AZ man broke into his neighbor’s home wielding a knife. The two homeowners fled into a bedroom and then a bathroom. As the suspect chased them, he reportedly yelled, “You’ll have to fill me.” One of the homeowners was able to retrieve a handgun and shoot the suspect in self-defense.

The police pronounced the suspect dead on the scene. As they tried to contact a next of kin of the deceased suspect, they entered his home next door and found another victim deceased in a bedroom.

Luckily, the homeowners were able to arm themselves and stop the threat. It seems that this man had already killed someone, so who knows what he had planned for the neighbors.
