Aseem Trivedi Cartoons Blog Address removed from Wikipedia

Last Friday I noticed a page about cartoonist Aseem Trivedi on Wikipedia. It’s a good page telling all details about the cartoonist. Name of his banned website was there and also the address of blog that he created after his website was banned. So I got what I was searching for.

But today I visited that page again to show it to one of my friends and noticed that the address of blog of Aseem Trivedi was removed from there. I salute the bravery of Indian Government. They lost no time in noticing such a minute thing. They might forget Coalgate, Black Money, Lokpal or 3G Spectrum but they will not forget a cartoon stating the reality of Parliament. Wikipedia also removed the picture of that controvercial cartoon from their page, which created the controversy.

I have no doubt that government of India sent a notice to Wikipedia to remove that blog address. Or might be they have demanded to remove the whole page. Thanks Wiki for at least keeping the page alive.

Here’s the address of Blog of Aseem Trivedi’s cartoons :

Here's the controversial cartoon of Aseem Trivedi:

Anna Hazare and a number of social activists are supporting Aseem. That's why government is against him.
