Gables Festival of the Arts; includes food and shows

The 2nd Annual Coral Gables Festival of the Arts is back on Saturday and Sunday, January 23 and 24. The event is located in Coral Gables on Giralda Avenue between Ponce de Leon and Lejeune and starting at 2308 Ponce De León Blvd.

The festival is all about the art. Over 150 artist from around South Florida and the US showing and selling their works in 13 different Art Categories. Art categories include oil, acrylic, sculpture, glass, wood, jewelry and much more. 

“This event is very different from every other art event in Florida”, said Mario Pi event organizer. “While the main focus is all about the art, we also offer performance art, culinary art, audible art i.e. music," Pi went on to say.

This year they have some great features: The Art of Fine Wine and Craft Spirits which offers unlimited wine and spirits sampling both days. This is a ticketed area with tickets cost being only $59 and available on line or on site. 

A Kidz Zone will be available. And Culinary Corner – 12 food vendors and 4 dessert vendors offering amazing food. Live performances – from ballet to Calypso music and more will be available.

Show Hours are as follows:
General Admission is Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm
The Art of Fine Wine & Craft Spirits is open Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 6 pm.
