December’s calendar is full for holidays at the Lake. Half the month is over and every weekend has been full of family fun activities. The Tour of Homes is always well received and Special Thanks go out to those brave souls that put their time in decorating and opening their homes to the public. The Lighting of the Star, at the Senior Center, was another beautiful event for children and adults. Santa’s visit and treats for the children were awesome. These traditions are all of what makes Shell Knob special and loved by those that share this part of southern Missouri. Tonight, December 12, will welcome the family style dinner supported by the Central Crossing Fire Protection District. These volunteers serve and protect our homes and our beings through out the year. Their hearty laughter and bright spirits always welcome the community to share a meal with them. The First Methodist Church has a new Mediation Trail that will provide a place for those thankful and spiritual beings to walk and offer thanks for this wonderful place, SHELL KNOB, MISSOURI. We are truly blessed.
