7 Ft. Monkey & Human-Faced Owl...in Downtown Miami
John in Miami, Florida called in to tell of a weird sighting he had:
“Back in February I saw what looked like a large monkey about 7 feet tall or so. And I was able to call the zoo and give a description to them on the tape. And I was trying to get the department of natural resources for the state to warn them that this thing was running around. It was around for a couple of hours that night. This was in the downtown area, believe it or not. But this was kinda like a wilderness area near the river. In Florida, in Miami. I didn't smell anything. I eventually got within 20 feet of the thing and tried to get a picture...like you said, my camera failed and wouldn't work. I just couldn't get a picture. I couldn't get it with my cellphone either and the strangest thing of the entire night, I don't even like to tell this to people because it sounds like I'm crazy...but the end of that night, that thing was joined by an owl. An owl showed up! It had, what looked like the face of a man on it. And I’ve had nightmares about that since. I couldn't believe I saw something that way but I did. I wish I could have gotten that on film. And they both more or less went toward the ground and they both just... dissolved. It was like they both just evaporated and I couldn't believe I saw that. I had two cups of coffee at the beginning of the night so I knew I was well aware of what was going on.”

North Carolina man hooks massive 112-pound catfish
It was hook, line and sinker — literally — for a man who went out fishing over Thanksgiving.
Equipped with only a small rod, Wilmington, North Carolina, resident Riahn Brewington struggled as he tried to pull out a fish from Cape Fear River last week.
He caught a catfish, but not just any catfish: a giant catfish that weighed more than 112 pounds.
The bloated fish was bigger than the top half of Brewington’s body.
Brewington couldn’t believe his eyes, and neither could his friends when the fisherman posted his prized catch on Facebook.

Hellish Monster in Amish Country
In August 1973, an ungodly looking creature created havoc among the god-fearing Lancaster County, PA Amish community. Witnesses described the creature as following: The size of a good heifer, gray in color with a white mane. It had tiger like fangs and curved horns like a Billy goat. It ran upright on long legs, and had long grizzly claws. In one incident, the creature sent a team of horses and two brothers flying when it approached their hay wagon. The following day, a man was cutting weeds on his farm about five miles from the previous incident when he heard a fierce roar and turned to see a monster with three horns and a tail charging in his direction. He raised his scythe to defend himself, only to have the implement ripped from his hands. At that point, the man wisely decided to turn both cheeks to the monster and escaped as fast as he could run.
A day later a woman was feeding poultry on a farm midway between the two earlier incidents when she heard a commotion and turned to see the creature in the act of snatching a goose in each of its hands. She bravely ran toward the thing, waving her apron. The woman managed to recover one of her geese when the creature threw it at her, knocking her to the ground in the process. The interloper then escaped with the remaining bird in hand. - America's Nightmare Monsters
