Mr Benjamin Esaah, the Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Assin North, Central Region, has revealed that two individuals have submitted their nominations to contest for the party's parliamentary candidate position in the upcoming by-election set for June 27, 2023.

According to the party's regulations, the nomination process will close today, June 1, 2023.

In an interview with Nana Tawiah on Class 91.3 FM, Mr Lord Listowel Agyinsem, the Deputy Youth Organiser of Assin North, expressed the party's determination to secure the parliamentary seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the forthcoming by-election on June 27, 2023.

Adding to the discussion, Maame Ama Asantewaa Obeng, the Women's Organiser for Assin North, advised party members to vote based on the candidates' competence in the primary election for the by-election.
