A STORY ABOUT YOUNG THUNDER

STERLING PRE-INK

Many know in the early days in Washington State Prisons, Sterling was no angel.  Imagine a young, angry 19 year old man doing life in prison, he had nothing to lose and nothing to gain.  One story that I have heard over the years from men who knew him back in the "wild days" sticks in my head.
There was this inmate, who was doing time for some unspeakable crimes, he decided to run his mouth to Sterling, relentlessly, and threatening him and talking crap about his family...not a good idea. Sterling was considered one the most dangerous inmates in the Washington State Prison system, something he is not proud of.  So long story shortened, he went to the shower on his hour out, decided to break the piping and break through the ceiling and climb up into the ceiling  with just his undies and with a mission.  Sterling tore up the ceiling tiles and started to crawl through destroying everything in his path , he was on his way to drop down into the man's cell that was running his mouth to take him up on his offer to fight...the story goes the man found out Sterling was on his way and was so scared he begged the guards to let him out... the guards were to busy trying to figure out what the hell to do and how to get Sterling out from the ceiling. The rumour goes the man was so scared , he hid under his cot, curled up in a ball , crying and  soiled himself !! So all the guards geared up in riot gear and begged Sterling to come down...Sterling said he would come down when he was ready...several hours later, and after many hours of destructing state property  he was cold and tired and peacefully came out of the ceiling...the guards and warden were stumped, they did not know what to do or how to learn to calm young , angry Sterling down... one step in many in the decision to transfer him out of State...Sterling told me  he had an "evil wrench" from Hell for judge, he swore she had horns and a tail under her robe.  He recently said " I remember the day I was given my 7's at the age of Nuh Nuh Nuh Nuh 19... I had several people give impact statements and tell me what a horrible person I was and deserved to die...I did not argue with them or blame them. One man, the brother of the victim told me I was going to burn in hell and I was thinking, if he feels I am the Devil so I  said to him, ' If I am going to burn in Hell , the Judge was going to going to keep me company and when I saw his brother standing next to the fire, I would make it a party and kick him in the burning flames'...that did not go over to well in court. His brother was the evil man, not me. I did what I did, but for a good reason...but nonetheless that did not go over well in the courtroom and I was hastily escorted out with the Judge screaming at the Bailiff to remove me out of her courtroom. So, off to prison I went...rather a tragic story...
