Confusion over the bodies of those killed in the Balasore train accident in Odisha is mounting. BMC Commissioner Vijay Amrita Kulange said that 33 blood samples have been sent for DNA test to identify the real members of the family. Since there is no DNA testing system in Odisha, it has been sent to Aiims Delhi under the supervision of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. AIIMS Bhubaneswar Executive Director Professor Ashutosh Biswas said that we have appealed to send the report within a day.

The son who came in search of his dead father got into trouble

At AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Parvez Sahrad Laska of Jayanagar, West Bengal identified himself as son of Abuboka Laska. According to him, after getting information about the death of his father in a train accident, he came to Bahanga to collect the dead body. He alleged that I have the pictures of my father's death but someone else took the body. Now AIIMS has taken his blood samples for DNA test. It is reported that his father will be identified after the report.

The family said - we don't need compensation, only if our loved ones are found safe

Similarly, the phone team of Malda's Nitam Rai and Chandan Rai reached their families in search of them. After getting the news of the accident, he visited several areas including Balasore, Soro. From there it comes to know that Neetam and Chandan have already died. The photo of Nitam's dead body was given to Phoney by Balasore administration but there was no number on it hence neither Odisha nor West Bengal government helpdesk is cooperating with them. Te Kim, Sum is making the rounds of the hospital, but to no avail. They don't want Compensation money, just information about the body.

Fake relatives are reaching out in greed for compensation

Abdul Wahab Sheikh of 24 Parganas of West Bengal has also been searching for his brother Ziauddin Sheikh for five days. He was also disappointed. So on the advice of the West Bengal helpdesk, Abdul said he gave his blood sample for DNA test. Also, there are many people in the AIIMS campus who are not getting any support from their families. He says that someone else has taken our family. Many people have come from Balasore with pictures of dead bodies of their loved ones. The tag number of the photo is also being viewed from the AIIMS help desk. However, there is no mention of it in the list. Many pictures don't even have tag numbers. Many fake relatives are also coming as Railways is paying compensation to the deceased. For that reason DNA test has been arranged to hand over the dead body of the family to the right person as well as pay the compensation amount.
