New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday busted an international drug racket and Seized 15,000 LSD blots in a single operation, the largest ever seized in the country. The international market value of this quantity of LSD is Rs. 10 crores. NCB has detained six people in this scam.

The NCB said that the use of LSD has increased among the youth and students these days, but it is very dangerous. Its commercial quantity is 0.1 gm. In half of one stamp it is felt, 5 such stamps make a blot. NCG has confiscated 15,000 stamps. There has not been such a big recovery in two decades. Its wires are connected with many states of the country and abroad.

NCB said that India is considered as a big consumer country of Drugs. The supply of this quantity of LSD used the dark net and cryptocurrencies for financial transactions and was conducted through foreign post offices. NCB has got 20 lakh accounts from the arrested people. Crypto Ballot is under investigation. These people were selling drugs through social media. A resident of Goa and a student studying in Noida College was the first to be caught. After that information about the syndicate was received. There was also a girl in this gang. The gang was importing LSD from Poland and the Netherlands and India was becoming its hub. The gang used to find their targets by forming groups through Insta and Vikar. Last month, in a special operation with the Indian Navy, the NCBA recovered from a boat off the coast of Kerala Rs. 2,525 kg of methamphetamine worth Rs 25,000 crore was seized. Under a special campaign called Operation Samudragupta, more than 4,000 kg of drugs have been seized since February 2022.
