They should be found as soon as possible. Our responsibility is not over yet. In Balasore, where the train accident took place, work was going on 24 hours on war footing. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was constantly present at the scene. Hundreds of railway employees, relief rescue team personnel, technicians to engineers worked day and night.
The damaged bogies were removed on Saturday night itself
The situation at the scene changed rapidly after the accident. The bogies strewn on the tracks were removed to shore on Saturday night itself. After the accident, the remaining coaches of the express train and the goods train also derailed. After this, the restoration work of the track continued throughout the day on Sunday. As a result, the first train was operated on this track only 51 hours after the accident. which was rushed to see if the track was properly fitted and then the restoration work of both the up and down lines was completed late on Sunday night. Now the trains on this line and the affected tracks are ready to move once again.
