“The event gives a unique opportunity for the Lithuanian defence industry to present its best production to giants of the global defence industry and state buyers from other countries. This is also a great opportunity for Lithuanian enterprises to assess their products and business strategies next to global leaders and trend setters,” Vice Minister of National Defence says.
“Lithuanian businesses are flexible and able to apply their solutions to different sectors, facilitate intersectoral cooperation. We are getting significantly better at high technology and we are able to offer solutions to enhance quality and effectiveness of the traditional products of defence industry,” Director-General of Enterprise Lithuania Daina Kleponė says.
According to Director-General, that is the reason why Enterprise Lithuania and the Ministry of National Defence are presenting a national Lithuanian pavilion in the largest international defence exhibition, DSEI, in London and provide a platform for Lithuanian businesses to find niches for their defence sector solutions and new business partners, and to expand export. Nine Lithuanian enterprises ar etaking part in the event.
DSEI 2019 is the 20th iteration, the exhibitions has over 1,600 participants, 40 national pavilions, and the audience of 35,000 from more than 50 countries. It is the largest exhibition in defence sector in the world. Lithuania has never presented a national pavilion in DSEI before.
