She was the queen of edgy pop back in the early 2000s.
Avril Lavigne is turning heads once again thanks to the steamy cover for her new album Head Above Water.
The 34-year-old songstress debuted the risque cover on Friday via her Instagram account.
In the image, the Canada native appears nude, as she reclines behind an acoustic guitar which she strategically holds in front of her.
Her long blonde locks are parted in the middle and cascade down all the way to the floor.
The Complicated singer couldn't help but gush over the effort in her caption.
'I still can’t believe that my album is almost here!! This album means a lot to me and I’m so excited that you guys get to hear it soon,' she told her 6.5 million followers.
She concluded, 'also, thank you to my fans for being so loving and supportive of me throughout this journey. I love you all so much.'
A post a short time later was another sepia image of the singer, this time clothed in a black sweater.
She accompanied that post with: '#TellMeItsOver is on New Music Friday playlists in 33 countries!! Thank you so much @Spotify! Stream it a link in bio and share with your friends.'
It seemed that the new music launch was a big success, as she took to her Instagram again on Friday night to share a status report.
'Number 3 on @itunes pop!!' read the text over a screenshot of the Apple iTunes store.
Indeed, she was in third place behind two songs by Ariana Grande, imagine and thank u, next.'
