Police arrest 3, recover 55 stolen PVCs in Kogi


The Kogi State Police Command yesterday said it has arrested one of the suspects that allegedly attacked officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at Egume in Dekina LGA of the state and carted away some PVCs.

Daily Trust reports that some hoodlums last week invaded one of the INEC’s registration areas at Egume in Dekina Local Government Area of the state and made away with some PVCs meant to be distributed to their owners. Spokesman of the command, William Aya, told our correspondent yesterday that the police are on the trail of other fleeing suspects.

The command also announced the arrest of two alleged notorious robbery suspects that had been terrorising the people of Ganaja village Area of Lokoja.
