As reported by the Daily Wire, Men Take Classes To ‘Unlearn’ Toxic Masculinity
Feminists are rooting out what they have deemed “toxic masculinity,” not by giving men a positive model of masculine virtue (chivalrous knights, dedicated husbands), but by neutering them until no masculinity exists in them at all.
The latest weapon in this war on “toxic masculinity” is a class called “Rethink Masculinity,” where men are invited “learn how social constructs of masculinity harm them and the people around them, and work to construct healthier masculinities.” The group’s website does not precisely define what exact kind of “healthier masculinities” they replace the toxic ones with.
I wish I could say that this is just a new fad, but unfortunately as pointed out by Paul Joseph Watson on Infowars.com there is a war on men and I believe that if these trends aren’t changed, the results will be disastrous.
Men are facing a full frontal assault on their rights, health and culture like never before. The war on masculinity has never been so brutal – but it’s not a war being waged by women. The attack is coming directly from the top, as the establishment desperately attempts to emasculate and disempower men in order to force women to be more dependent on the state, thereby enabling more power to be centralized and aiding the growth of big government.

Degradation of Positive Masculine Role Models
Whereas 50 years ago, advertising, Hollywood and television was filled with examples of positive masculine role models that young men could look up to, today’s entertainment industry routinely portrays men as clueless and bumbling oafs at best (think Homer Simpson, Everybody Loves Raymond, Married With Children) or at worst as aggressive sexual predators. Since advertising is primarily aimed at women, men in commercials are also now routinely depicted as either being emasculated losers or stupefied morons. Young men consuming this content grow up thinking that it is acceptable and even encouraged to aspire to these character traits. In doing so, they are robbed of their natural masculinity and find it extremely difficult to attract well-rounded women, who are rightly disgusted by such behavior. The entertainment industry is largely controlled by men, again underscoring the fact that this assault is a top down trend that has little or nothing to do with the gender war.
The “Privilege” Trap
Statists, collectivists and their mouthpieces in the media and the establishment claim that western men (in particular white men) cannot express a valid opinion on any issue related in any way to a “minority” (such as feminism or immigration) because they have “privilege”. The “privilege” talking point is a stunt through which liberals and feminists attempt to shut down free speech. In essence they are asserting the ludicrous notion that a man’s viewpoint has no value because of the color of his skin, his gender or his country of origin. This is an inherently racist position, yet it is routinely used by leftists to shout down their ideological adversaries and silence male voices.
Walter Williams, (one of the greatest economists of our generation in my opinion) has argued that as the welfare state has expanded, the role of the father and provider have been replaced by that of the government, which provides incentives for single mothers to not marry.
When President Lyndon Johnson in 1964 launched the so-called War on Poverty, which enacted an unprecedented amount of antipoverty legislation and added many new layers to the American welfare state, he explained that his objective was to reduce dependency, “break the cycle of poverty,” and make “taxpayers out of tax eaters.” Johnson further claimed that his programs would bring to an end the “conditions that breed despair and violence,” those being “ignorance, discrimination, slums, poverty, disease, not enough jobs.”
The results of welfare policies discouraging marriage and family were dramatic, as out-of-wedlock birthrates skyrocketed among all demographic groups in the U.S., but most notably African Americans. In the mid-1960s, the out-of-wedlock birth rate was scarcely 3% for whites, 7.7% for Americans overall, and 24.5% among blacks. By 1976, those figures had risen to nearly 10% for whites, 24.7% for Americans as a whole, and 50.3% for blacks specifically. And today, the numbers stand at 29% for whites, 41% for the nation overall, and 73% for blacks. In other words, the entire country is moving rapidly in the wrong direction, but blacks in particular have reached a point of veritable catastrophe.
The unfortunate effects of these trends is the following as reported by the Heritage Foundation:
The effect of Married fathers on child outcomes can be quite pronounced. For example, examination of families with the same race and same parental education shows that, when compared to intact married families, children from single-parent homes are:
- More than twice as likely to be arrested for a juvenile crime;[20]
- Twice as likely to be treated for emotional and behavioral problems;[21]
- Roughly twice as likely to be suspended or expelled from school;[22] and
- A third more likely to drop out before completing high school.[23]
The effects of being raised in a single-parent home continue into adulthood. Comparing families of the same race and similar incomes, children from broken and single-parent homes are three times more likely to end up in jail by the time they reach age 30 than are children raised in intact married families. [24] Compared to girls raised in similar married families, girls from single-parent homes are more than twice as likely to have a child without being married, thereby repeating the negative cycle for another generation.[25]
Other effects of the War on Men are their hesitation to defend their communities from Muslim Terrorists for fear of being called “racist”, in some cases even going as far as to assist in covering up the crimes of the perpetrators. (To avoid offending Muslims, they are often referred to as “Asians” or their faith/origin is skipped over altogether).

I wish I could say that things in the United States are not headed in the same direction. Again, in an effort to not be labeled “racist” or “politically incorrect”, anytime President Trump tries to take firm steps to protect our communities (like deporting violent criminals or improving vetting procedures for would-be immigrants) he is met with resistance from Democrats and even some in his own party who are more concerned with not offending anyone than preventing murders & rapes. (This is even after the recent attack in NYC by an Islamic Terrorist who was allowed in this country as a result of Schumer’s Diversity Visa program).
