White House Cannot Confirm Accuracy Of Energy Department’s Lab Leak Report On Covid-19 Origins

The White House cannot confirm that the Energy Department’s Lab Leak Report on the origins of Covid-19 is accurate, according to John Kirby from the National Security Council.

An assessment by the US Energy Department maintains that the Covid-19 pandemic emerged from a Chinese laboratory leak. During yesterday’s press briefing at the White House, John Kirby from the National Security Council announced that the administration remains without an overall consensus on the sources of the virus and cannot confirm that the most recent findings.

According to both Kirby and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, President Biden is committed to “getting to the bottom of this” and reaching a final conclusion on how and where Covid-19 originated.

“Biden has made this a priority,” noted Jean-Pierre. The current administration believes that by researching potential sources and understanding the origins of Covid-19, the government will be able to prevent future pandemics.

President Biden,”believes that it is important to get to the bottom of this because we need to prepare for potential pandemics,” noted the Press Secretary.
