A video has reportedly come to the light from Rajasthan’s Bikaner where a Woman sitting on a scooter with her son was subjected to theft after a man out of nowhere snatched the chain off of the woman’s neck. The incident is reportedly from Nayashehar Area where a scooty-borne woman had parked near a shop to buy something.

In the video, a scooter-borne woman, along with her kid, can be seen waiting outside a shop where another man can also be seen standing. The woman while waiting for the shopkeeper to fetch her the things she wanted to buy, was taken aback by the nearby man.

The man, out of nowhere, snatched the gold chain of the woman and dashed away and after taking a bit to process what happened, the woman chased after him, leaving her young son behind on the scooter. The shopkeeper can also be seen rushing outside to see what happened.

Police action

According to reports, the police were informed about the incident after which the CO CT Deepchand reached the place of the crime to investigate the matter further. It was reported that the police have assessed the CCTV footage and have also looked into the nearby CCTV footage of the area to nab the perpetrator.

After the video went viral many users came forward to remark on the incident one user came forward and victim blamed the woman in the video by stating that despite women repeatedly being told to be vigil and alert and to abstain from wearing gold jewelry, they still continue to be conscious at all, implying that it was the woman’s fault that she was robbed.

Another user added to the conversation with a novel take and highlighted how she abandoned her son to chase after the thief and termed her as a mad woman, suggesting how she should have been mindful of her child before resorting to drastic measures.
