Akshay Kumar has given a strong reaction to Richa Chadha’s controversial Tweet. Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi recently said in a tweet that Indian Army is ready to take back the part of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) just awaiting for orders from the government and to which Richa Chadha replied by Tweeting that ‘Galvan is saying hi’

This did not only anger the social media users but now Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has also openly expressed his disagreement with the Fukrey actor. Khilaadi Kumar tweeted saying that it hurts him to read something like that.

He further wrote that nothing ever should make anyone ungrateful towards our Armed Forces. He ended his tweet by writing, “Woh hain toh aaj hum hain”. People are also slamming the actor for allegedly insulting the army by commenting on the clash that took place between India and China in 2020.

Earlier, Shiv Sena spokesperson (Uddhav faction) Anand Dubey had demanded Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Home Minister Amit Shah to take stringent actions against the anti-national tweet of the actor. He also said that actors who make anti-national tweets should be banned from the entertainment industry.

Moreover, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa also criticized the actor for her tweet and called the tweet disgraceful. He even insisted on withdrawing the tweet at the earliest possible time because insulting our armed forces is not justified, he said.

For the unversed, in late May 2022, Chinese forces objected against Indian road construction in the Galwan River Valley. Later the Chinese and Indian troops got engaged in aggressive face-offs at Sino-Indian border.
