A video from Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra has been doing rounds on the internet, where Rahul Gandhi can be seen tying Sonia Gandhi’s shoelaces as the Congress President joined the march. The moment was captured on camera when Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi marched during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in BJP-ruled Karnataka’s Mandya district on Thursday.

Several videos have taken over the internet where Rahul Gandhi can be seen taking utmost care of his mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He was first seen tying her shoelaces and later even stopped his mother and asked her to sit in the car and accompany them as exertion can be harmful for her.

Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor took to Twitter handle and shared the priceless moment between between Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. He also wrote an emotional caption mentioning that even if mothers breathe, they pray for their children. And Mothers will never break or change.

Sonia Gandhi on Thursday joined her son Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in BJP-ruled Karnataka. After a long gap the Congress President was seen participating in a public event due to her health worries. She walked a short distance, surrounded by a large crowd of slogan-shouting party workers, before getting into a car. She returned to the march later.

For the unversed, the party chief was abroad for her medical check-ups and she directly reached Karnataka to take part in the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Monday. Reportedly, Gandhi flew to Madikeri in Coorg and stayed at a private resort. Sonia Gandhi is also expected to address a rally in Ballary. She had earlier visited a temple in Begur village and offered prayers on Wednesday.
